DWG freezes

Hey,
I try to import DWG files from AutoCAD in VW, and they take over 15 min to load, after which they often crash or VW freezes, or the file is not workable because of the huge lag. 
I want to ask if other people have the same issues or if there is a fix?

Evtl. ist die DWG-Datei defekt oder mit deiner Installation von Vectorworks stimmt etwas nicht. Bitte sende die DWG-Datei zum Testen an den Helpdesk von ComputerWorks.
