Hello team,

Again, and sorry to raise another question.

Thanks @Marcel Ostendorfand @ChrisKofor your idea about 3D contour in Object tool, I managed to place the Contour in it.

But I have another challenge and am looking for your idea(s).

My question is: how to change the fixed shelf internal dimension without changing the drawer front height.

For example, each drawer front height here needs to be 200mm (I have removed the gaps for this example).

Currently, all the fixed shelves are placed at the center to center division. Is it possible to move them down without changing the drawer front height?

The pictures below are showing the result that I want to achieve.

Ideally, the internal dimension between fixed shelves can be changed without changing the drawer front height. For example change the internal dimension 172.7mm to 182.7mm without making any changes to drawer front height.

Is it possible to achieve this?

Thanks again.

Hi ChrisKo,

Thank you for your reply.

It seems this is the only way to make it work, but it's a bit unprecise for me.

I will leave this for now, as it might be a bit tricky for me if the kitchen cabinets (Korpus) height changed from 800mm to 750mm for next job, I have to manually change each drawer height of the kitchen job. This is a bit time consuming and very easy to make mistake. If that is happening, I need to spend extra time in my workshop to manually fixed the cabinets. A bit risky for me~ ?

Thanks again for your idea, as least I know there is a way to change the internal dimension. ?

Cheers

I was thinking of a better solution to you problem.
You can change the height, with, and depth and also the number of divisions. And everything else

stays the same.

This would be also working with your BoxObjects for the millings in the side of your cabinets.

Greetings

Chris

Hi Chris,

Well done!!!!! I like your way of thinking out of the box.

Hah... it's a zone in the subzone, plus manually adjusting the fixed shelf space.

It is working! ??? You are smart, mate.

Thanks again Chris.

i dont get what he did, can u pls explain napw?

hah...

First, you need to watch the video 5 times, that's what I did. ?

Second, try to move the fixed the shelf down, but still making the drawer front height unchanged.

For example, quickly make a cabinet 800H, making the gap 0mm to make it easy and keeping each drawer height at 200mm. This is easy, you know that. Now, try to move the fixed shelf down but still having 200mm height drawer front.

Can you do it?

If not, come back to watch ChrisKO's video. ?

His way solved this puzzle. What he did was in the single drawer zone, he made another zone in it to adjust the internal space of fixed shelf.

Cheers
