Need Help - Hinges on LemanII cabinet.

Hello team, 

 

I am building a Lemans II 45 cabinet, I need to insert Blum hinges to the LH door, but it says no hinge mount found, so it doesn't allow to insert hinges. 

 

I created the zone using Partition, in theory it should be able to recognize the middle partition (I assumed). 

 

 

 

When I made the door opened, it seems it is placed correctly in accordance with the partition.

Hi,
I think the problem is your setting of the reveal. the overlap on the doors right side (-4) is too big. The standard hinges are only working with a max. overlay of 18mm. f.e. you can't build a door flush to sides. therefore you need a special hinge:

I think you are right. I did a few test and the issue is exactly what you pointed out. 

 

I am not sure how to pick up or make a special hinge to make it work. 

But I have simplified my question here: How to place the hinges on the partition if the door is full over lay the middle partition?  I think Interiorcad is pretty good, it can automatically detect the inset, half-overlay and full overlay hinges. 

 

I think Interior CAD can add one option like (Full or Cover) for full overlay. 

From my understanding, the enter is the distance center to center, inside the internal width, sometimes user may want to external to external edge, which is the door/drawer  fully covered the two side panels. 

So I think 1 works inside to inside edge, 2 works like center to center, and 3 could be a new thing like Cover. 

 

 

Maybe I think too much about this, but it will be very gratefully if someone can give me a picture and show me how to insert the hinge in the first picture showed.

Thanks for the 3D model, I just downloaded and still not working on my Interirocad. Maybe something wrong with my settings. 

This is what I have done, and tried most Blum full overlay hinges. But it still shows no hinge mounts found. 

Can you place the hinges on the door? 

 

 

I opened the settings, I did not change any thing, and I found the door reveal had been changed. 

 

 

Not sure what has been wrong, I will investigate my Interiorcad settings later. 

But my feeling is after changing the door reveal, Interiorcad is not considering this door as a full overlay door, neither half overlay.

Hi @napwszzm, 

the door is an central stop, the door overlay ist 16mm on the central stop, so you need a mountaingplate (folder mountaingplate for central stop) and you need a corner hinge, ( IMPORTANT you must push the corner hinge in the folder for the central hinge!!!!!) so you can select the right hinge in the Dialog on the top in the menuline.

I will follow your link and create a new hinge set file in my User liabrary to try. 

 

After playing the division  in Interirocad, I seriously think it should include a "Front + outside" tab in the file. 

 

Here are the explanation: 

 

1. I want to make a cabinet with door opening 400mm, including the two side panels. I tried two different ways provided in the division tab. 

In this case, the zone is dived by Front = center of division + the panel, I think Interiorcad will pick up the half-overlay hinge. 

 

 

Then, I used Front + inside = ? I am not sure what is the logic here, why the partition is pushed to left? 

 

My thinking is, if the Front + inside is pushing the partition to left for picking up the inset hinges, then a new tab called "Front + Cover" should be defined to be a front opening including the partition and the right side panel. And then Interiorcad can index the full overlay hinges. If the door opening is 400mm, taking away door gap 2mm both side, the door should be reading as 396mm in width. 

 

 

 

 

 

I will try to make a new Corner hinge for this full over lay door later to try if it's going to work.
