napwszzm Geschrieben 11. September 2021 Teilen Geschrieben 11. September 2021 Hello team, I am building a Blum space tower like below, but did not success, so can someone give me a clue for doing? I have listed my way, and I might have been making mistakes. 1. I divided the zone to multiple sub zones, with the drawer (no fronts). 2. Then, I tried to place the drawers from Drawer tool. But when I select the grey box, the drawer zones are not activated and nothing can be indicated. Only the wooden drawer box is working. So, can someone give me some hints for making the inner drawer? Thanks a lot! Also, I also think it would be a good idea if having an option in the design window to choose hardware. I have illustrated the idea below: 1 Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...

However, after reading the link you gave, I did some test and tried to understand how InteriorCAD manage the different components for drawers, and here are what I did: 1. I copied and created a new symbol in TandemBox-Antaro-BM-M folder, and import Blum aluminum front and the cross rail dwg.to make a symbol. 2. I selected the front fixing that I created. But I am not sure how to make the Width changed and fit the internal dimension of the drawer. Maybe need a place to customized the Width = LW - 132mm something? Needs a similar organization of cabinet bottom and drawer back. 3. The result looks funny as the width of the dwg. profiles are the original sizes of imported parts in the Blum DWG file. So my question here is, what kind of tools in VW can change the width of the shape? I tried Reshape tool, but its' not working. I personally think it would be good to have two more rows in the settings for A= Blum Cross Gallery, B= Blum Handle Pull with dimensional setting like width = LW - 123mm ... then, this could make the inner drawer works perfectly? Thanks Nap Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...

September 2021 Hi @napwszzm its better not to save new items into the systems library folder. after every update the item will be deleted. Make your own library in the users folder (or working group folder). With box objects you can customize the width. i kept the drawer front (oak custom part) to reference the drawer (legrabox) behind. 1 Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...

Hah... Thanks a lot. That's smart. Simple, easy and intuitive. I will try this method later. Yeah, that's a good point, I will build up my User library. Cheers Polylignum.
